Our Doctors

Kim Beegle, DVM

Dr. Beegle began working with our sister clinic, Piedmont Veterinary Clinic, in 1999.  She transitioned to Mebane Pet Clinic in 2007 when our Mebane locations merged. She has devoted many years to veterinary medicine. She worked as a licensed veterinary technician for 3 years, as a research technician for 11 years and then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995.  When she’s not taking care of her beloved patients, she enjoys walking her dog, listening to music and audio books and volunteering with various rescue groups.  She shares her home with her dog, Hilary, and her cat, Shop Cat.

Melina Efthimiadis, DVM

Dr. Efthimiadis has been with Mebane Pet Clinic since January of 2010. She graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She was valedictorian of her graduating class. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include abdominal ultrasound/diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, dermatology and ophthalmology. When she is not working, she enjoys endurance riding, camping, home improvement, gardening and reading. Along with the horses she and her husband enjoy riding, they also share their home with 3 dogs, 4 cats and chickens.

Tara Kipp, DVM

Dr. Kipp works both here at Mebane Pet Clinic and at our Piedmont Veterinary Clinic location. She began working with us in July 2007. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include nutrition and increasing owner awareness of the quality of pet foods available. For fun she enjoys playing with her three greyhounds, riding and training her horse, drawing, playing the piano, gardening, taking care of her many fish, photography and sitting on her back porch watching the wild birds with her husband.

Pamela Means, DVM

Dr. Means started working with Mebane Pet Clinic in July 2001. Her career in veterinary medicine began in 1987 as a technician. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 1996. Her special interests include internal medicine and geriatrics. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, running, zumba and gardening. Along with her husband and two children, her home is shared with 2 dogs, 9 cats and Einstein, the turtle.
