VETERINARY ASSISTANTS:

Caitlyn

Caitlyn came to the practice April 2015 working as a veterinary assCaitlynLamere2015_1istant after spending a year working at the PetSense pet supply store. Caitlyn graduated from SUNY College of Science and Forestry with B.S. Degree in Wildlife Science. She also spent time as an intern at Lowry Park Zoo in the elephant and rhino department. She enjoys building relationships with clients and their pets. She spends her free time kayaking or bowling. Caitlyn has two dogs (Ziggy Stardust and Sadie), two cats (Otto and Smalls) and a turtle (Donatello).

 

Chelsea

Chelsea has been with Mebane Pet Clinic since October 2010 working as a veterinary assistant. Chelsea graduated from Alamance Community College (ACC) in July 2010 from the Animal Care and Management Program (ACM) with an A.A.S. Degree. She also spent time volunteering at Paws4Ever prior to starting at the practice. She loves building relationships with the clients and their pets. While at work she enjoys assisting in surgery, monitoring anesthesia, and dental cleanings. She spends her free time with husband and daughter. She also enjoys reading, walking, traveling, and watching the Carolina Panthers football games. Currently, she has a dog (Charlie) and a cat (Jake).

 

Denise

Denise was born and raised in Palm Springs, CA. She spent nine and half years IMG_2222working for GTE in California with three years spent in a supervisory/management role. In 1981, she moved to Florida after marrying her husband. There Denise worked for IBM for nine and half years before moving to North Carolina in 1987. In July 1994, she began working for Dr. Rodeffer at Piedmont Veterinary Clinic and later at Mebane Pet Clinic. Denise enjoys her work at the practice including administrative work as well as veterinary assistant. She likes to do dental cleanings, surgery assistant and laser therapy. For fun and relaxation, she enjoys camping in their Fifth Wheel RV and her pets always go with her. Currently, she has 2 cats (Coey and Jade) and one dog (Bliss).

 

Joanna

Joanna started January 2016 working as a veterinary assistant for the practice. She is currently attending Alamance Community College in the Animal Care and Management (ACM) Program. She plans to graduate this spring with an A.A.S. Degree. She’s enthusiastic about working at Mebane Pet Clinic because everyday provides new experience working with animals. She also enjoys working closely with the caring team of staff and doctors at the practice. In the past, she has had birds, fish, snakes, mice, ferrets, cat and dogs. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter, collecting old books and reading.
 

 

Christina

Christina started working at Mebane Pet Clinic in May 2017 as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from Alamance Community College (ACC) from the Animal Care and Management Program with an associate’s degree in Animal Science. (A.A.S) Before coming to our clinic she spent time working as an intern at Burlington Animal Services. Her favorite part of working at the clinic is meeting new animals every day, as well as building a better relationship with the pets and owners who are established clients. While not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her dog, hunting and fishing. She has one cat (Miley) and one dog (Chevy).

 

Desiree

Desiree began working at Mebane Pet Clinic in October 2016. She is planning on attending NC A&T to study Animal Science once she graduates high school. She loves working the clinic to gain hands on experience working with animals. Her hobbies include dancing, drawing, and singing

 

 Austin

Austin has been with Mebane Pet Clinic since November 2017. She enjoys learning new things about animal medicine every day. She also likes meeting clients and their pets along with establishing a comfortable environment for both pets and owners. In her free time she rides four wheelers and lazy day snuggles with her pups, Klaus and Sally.

Practice Manager:

Whitney

Whitney started working for the clinic in February 2015. She enjoys working at the practice because of all the animals and their owners. Previously, she was a stay at home mom but now, she is the Practice Manager. You may not see her at the front desk as much but you will still hear her on the phone and see her throughout the clinic as she is always helping out as needed. When not at work, she enjoys antique shopping, spending time with her family and playing with her pets. Her four-legged family consists of one cat named Amethyst and two dogs named Newt and Maynard James.
