Elizabeth Welch, DVM

Dr. Welch grew up in Southeast Florida and decided to move to cold Wisconsin to get her Bachelor’s degree at UW-Madison. After graduating, she spent several years working as a veterinary technician in Texas and in the Chicago suburbs before making her way to Raleigh, NC. Dr. Welch attended NC State University for graduate school and then for veterinary school, where she just graduated in May 2022.

Dr. Welch is getting ready to move into her new house just outside of Durham with her family and is so excited to be a part of the Mebane Pet Clinic team! She currently has 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 ferrets, and will likely expand her pet crew soon. In her free time, she loves to go hiking with her hound dog, Nash, or bake cupcakes or sourdough bread.
